VaRays, for Virtual Audio Rays, is a tool for real-time computation of impulse responses in a virtual environment. It takes into account the geometry of the environment, the position of the listener and the position of sound objects. This tool is in its early stages, its development started in 2018, but it is currently used in conjunction with the EiS (geometry) and SATIE (ambisonic decoding) software in order to prototype live auralization experience in immersive spaces.
