SOLD OUT Immersive landscape - Big data and real time interactions (Part 1)
Workshops
About this workshop
Presented by Alexis Nemtchenko (Merovee) and Antoine Vanel (Blindsp0t), this workshop is an introduction to the techniques used to retrieve big data from Google Street View and Google Maps for the composition of an immersive landscape.
Understand how to download and use the data from Google Street View on the fly. Learn how to find, download, and reappropriate audio field-recording data and arrange it into immersive landscapes .
Workshop participants will create a point cloud circuit retrieved from Google Street View, and a soundscape based on an algorithmic composition illustrating the point cloud
Workshop plan
